The World Of A Hoodlum

Hundreds of years ago there was The Coalition. The most wanted and infamous gang in the world. The Coalition ran the streets terrorizing and making money whenever and wherever they could, ruthless they killed anyone that stood up to them or against them. One day they found a meteor with alien life within its shell. The alien beings were small, to the point they looked like babies to the The Coalition leaders, and spoke to them instantly and telepathically.

One day, a Coalition member noticed a substance coming from the alien creatures and accidently tasted it. The substance was as sweet as sugar to him so he used it to cook with for the next Coalition meeting. Most of the member love the taste and did not think much of it. And there were the others..

In absolute horror, the Coalition leaders watched some of the members began to shake, laugh and cry at the same time, urinating and defecating themselves, multiple instance of self ejaculation, their body parts froze like a statue for minutes to a full hour, some screamed in joy, and others screamed in absolute terror. But what most surprised the leaders was, after the afflicted had calm down, ALL of them asked for more. The Coalition leaders realized what they had and began mass producing the substance and named it "Gas" and for decades they watched as profits came in and they flourished. 

Civilization broke down as most people found it impossible to resist Gas, mothers would sell there children just to look at the substance. But.. for the ones that did not feel the effects of the Gas, the Coalition would immediately adopt them into the ranks and gave them the title of "Dealer". The Coalition had a monopoly on the substance, an UNLIMITED supply that could never run out. Governments would give up their power to The Coalition in order to just get a spoon full of Gas. The Coalition removed the police forces of the world in order to rule without consequence. 

Until one day, the alien creatures told the Coalition leaders the truth..  

Half of Coalition wanted to kill the alien species immediately, the other half drew their guns to defend the alien creatures. And for decades the two sides fought! Till this very day they still fight! Split into two, the Council are those who seek to kill the alien creatures, and the Syndicate are those who will die defending them.
